What we collect

What is sent when you ask the AI

When you ask PageWeave or an enabled optional tool something using a PageWeave account, your message and the page content needed for the answer go to our server and on to our AI model provider to produce the answer. They are not stored by PageWeave after the answer is returned, except where a feature’s separate retention is described here. Hosted Studio conversation text is saved in account-scoped crew state as described below. Nothing is sent from a page unless you start a task on it.

Company workspace and optional voice conversations

The voice assistant is optional. Turning voice off leaves text conversations available. The browser requests microphone access only after you press Start listening; an ephemeral token lets the browser speech SDK stream microphone audio directly to Microsoft Azure Speech for transcription. PageWeave does not receive or store raw microphone audio. Recognized words appear in an editable field; PageWeave receives them only when you submit them, then forwards the conversation to its existing configured text completion provider. The PageWeave company workspace stores the last 60 conversation messages and last 40 tasks, along with saved notes and bounded execution state, in company-scoped SQLite storage. Older personal crew conversations remain account-scoped and are not automatically copied into a company room. Conversation state expires after 30 days without activity; physical deletion happens on a subsequent crew access after expiry, rather than through an autonomous purge. Clear conversation erases that room state immediately but retains the company profile. The company name, project stage, market, currency, chosen language, immediate goal and owner membership are stored while the account remains open; you can edit the profile in the workspace or request account deletion as described below. Private follow-up notes are workspace tasks only: they do not schedule notifications or contact customers. Spoken replies use Google Gemini TTS for Derja and the configured provider for other supported languages (currently Microsoft Azure for English and French). Generated speech audio is returned to the browser and held in a temporary browser blob for playback; PageWeave does not store raw audio. An explicitly cached static public preview, if enabled, is a separate exception. Google TTS requests disable provider-side storage; other providers handle submitted data under their own terms. Stopping, leaving the page or hiding it releases the microphone session. If voice is unavailable or switched off, text remains available.

Workflows and documents

PageWeave can offer optional tools in the browser extension and Hosted Studio; availability depends on the build and account settings. Saved workflow definitions, schedules and their run state are kept in extension storage and run in the browser; those records are not synced to a PageWeave account. Chobbik is an optional tool in the hosted Ad Spy workspace for signed-in accounts; it is not a separately installed extension and is not included in the current PageWeave Core package. If a user explicitly uploads workflow documents through a feature in a submitted build, the selected files and any extracted content sent to an AI provider must be disclosed before upload; the release build must identify the destination, retention and deletion behavior.

Your profile, bookmarks and history connector

In PageWeave Core, while signed in, your role, interests, short profile description, trusted site names and answer preferences are synchronized to your PageWeave account; profile learning can update these preferences. Bookmark access is optional and requested from its user-facing control. Bookmarks are read-only; a cleaned index stays in extension storage. Derived topics and trusted domains may be added to the profile and synchronized when signed in. History access is also optional and requested from its connector. Searches run locally; if you ask an AI question using history results, selected visit details and any page text read for the answer may be sent to the AI provider. No automatic history upload occurs. Explain these uses before requesting the permission and before sending selected results. Chobbik does not request bookmarks or history permissions.

Google Sheets workflow reports

If you enable server workflow reports in Settings, the extension sends the requested report rows and a short-lived Google access token to PageWeave. We use it only for the requested Google operation and do not save it. We keep spreadsheet identifiers and write receipts to prevent accidental duplicates and restrict edits to sheets created through this integration. Turning the option off blocks future server writes; it does not delete existing Google files.

Chobbik research

The hosted Ad Spy workspace requires a PageWeave account. It displays shop and ad observations already available in PageWeave and lets you manage your own saved follows and lists; these actions send requests to PageWeave. The current hosted workspace does not submit new observations from pages you browse, and browser capture is not currently connected or verified.

What stays in your browser

PageWeave keeps settings, provider configuration, local task/run data and browser interaction on your device; some account profile, workflow, schedule and document features also send data to PageWeave as described above. Your own AI-provider requests go to the provider you configure. Chobbik's hosted Ad Spy workspace displays and manages research through PageWeave; new-page browser capture is not currently connected or verified.

Ads

Free plans show ads. Ads inside the extension are chosen by our server from our own ad list; showing one sends no page content, only which placement it is for. We count how often each ad is shown and clicked, not who saw it.

Optional Gravity sponsored suggestions are currently test-only and require a separate opt-in. PageWeave sends Gravity a generic productivity request and random request identifiers, not your conversation, email, page content or browsing URL. Ad-free accounts and private browsing are excluded. Viewing a suggestion or opening its link may contact Gravity and the advertiser. Turn sponsored suggestions off in the extension to stop future requests. Website tracking consent is separate.

This website may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

What we never do

Keeping and deleting data

Other account and usage records are kept while your account is open. Hosted Studio crew state follows the inactivity expiry and deletion process described above. Feedback and reports are kept for up to 24 months. To delete your account and all records about you, email us from the address you sign in with.

Google user data

PageWeave's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
